He was born in Wallace, Idaho, on Jan. 10, 1958 to Joseph and Doris Virginia (Cook) Lorenzo. Henry married Jewel K. Martin on Jan. 28, 2005.
Henry had a strong faith in God and his family. Henry was employed as a hard rock and coal mining construction consultant with Pittman Mine Service. He was highly respected by his co-workers for his knowledge and skill. Henry was foremost a cowboy, he along with his wife, Jewel, owned and operated the J-H Rodeo Ranch in Dugger where they were breeders of bucking horses. He had spent earlier years on the rodeo circuit. Henry had a love of animals and nature.
Survivors include his wife, Jewel K. Lorenzo of Dugger; his children, Sara Lorenzo of Pruitt, NM, Laura Lorenzo of Renton, WA, Tyrell Lorenzo of Albuquerque, NM, Montana Lorenzo of Tucson, AZ, Matthew (Francella) Taylor of Jasonville, Andrew (Destiny) Taylor of Farmersburg and Shiann (Logan) Hobbs; three grandchildren, Douglas, Oliver and Emmitt of Linton; two brothers, Louie (Anita) Lorenzo of Jasonville and Nick Lorenzo of Linton; two sisters, Doris (Brian) Smith of Brazil, IN and Blanche (Kevin) Critchfield of Hymera; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Henry was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents and brother, Steven.
Friends may call at the Anderson-Poindexter Dugger Chapel, from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 6.
A memorial services will be conducted at 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 6, the funeral home with the Rev. Dick Smith officiating. Interment will follow at a later date. Contributions may be made to Wishard Hospital Burn Unit, envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
