Dunigans to celebrate 50th anniversary

Darrell and Judy Dunigan, of Worthington, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday.

Their children and grandchildren are hosting an open house in their honor from 2-5 p.m. at the Worthington Park Community Building.

The Dunigans were married Oct. 27, 1961 at the Nazarene Church in Worthington by the Rev. Otis Downs.

Judy, the former Judy Sears, is the daughter of Raymond and Thelma Sears. Darrell is the son of Birthal and Pauline Dunigan.

Both have been long-time residents to the Worthington area. Darrell worked for RCA for several years and Judy was employed by Tom Smith Electronics, The Onion Ring Factory and Mercury Cleaners over the years.

They both graduated from the Olivet Nazarene Bible College in Colorado Springs, Col., and ministered at the Nazarene Church in Worthington and Kanard, Ohio.

They have three children: LeRae (David) Stout of Bloomfield, Leon (Jodi) Dunigan of Worthington, and Darla (Richard) Moore of Jasonville. They are also the proud grandparents of eight granddaughters and one great-granddaughter.
