He was born in Dugger, the son of Leo V. Goodman and Lorene Mason Goodman.
He was a retired truck driver and retired from Peabody Coal Company. He was a member of Crossroads Community Church in Sullivan, the Dugger Masonic Lodge Post #721, the Scottish Rite, and Sullivan County Shrine.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, Leo V. Goodman.
Survivors include his mother, Lorene Mason Goodman of Sullivan; his wife, Terry Beth Day Goodman; two sons, Scott Goodman of Sullivan, and Jeffery Donat (Lisa) of Saline, Mich.; two daughters, Ronna Oelheim (Dennis) of Sullivan, and Shanna Donat of Sullivan; two brothers, Darrell Goodman (Kathy) of Sullivan, and David H. Goodman of Sullivan; 12 grandchildren, Ronnie, Eric, DJ, Epiphany, Mathias, Joshiah, Michaela, Avalon, Acacia, Cooper, Ellis, and Levi; and a great-grandchild, Mason.
Services will be at Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger on Saturday, October, 29, at 10 a.m. with Pastor Eddie Hammond officiating.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, October 28. A Masonic service will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday.
Interment will be at Dugger Cemetery.
