Norma Lee (Parke) Williams, 83, of Lyons, passed away at 10:05 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute.

Born Oct. 13, 1928 in Spurgeon, she was the daughter of Elza and Themus (Wade) Parke.

She was the owner and operator of Lyons Fashions clothing store and worked for Peoples Trust Company. She was also a homemaker. She was a member of the Lyons United Methodist Church, Order of Eastern Star and American Legion Auxiliary in Lyons, and was a former Volunteer for CASA.

Surviving relatives include: her children, Carolyn Williams of Bloomington, Ivan (Ellen) Williams of Mandan, North Dakota, Sue Royer of Terre Haute, Michael (Dee) Williams of Lyons, and Kenny (KyongGe) Williams of Bloomington; grandchildren, Michele (Scott) Schaaf, Jerome` Williams, Ira Williams, Autumn Williams, Amanda (Derek) Vester, April (Matt) Settles, Jon Royer, Aubrey Williams, Amber (Larry) Swain, Amy Williams, and Ellis Williams; great-grandchildren, Mitchell Haider, Molly Settles, and Madelynn Settles; brothers and sisters, P.G. Parke, Bill Parke, Sharon (Don) Falls and Patty (Don) Pflug all of Oakland City, Pauline (Horace) Tyler of West Lafayette and Wayne (Karen) Parke of Evansville; sister-in-law, Joyce Parke of Oakland City.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis G. Williams on May 15, 2009, her sisters, Juanita Smith, Maxine Nelson, and Lucy Nixon, brothers, Kenneth, Warren and Floyd Parke and her parents.

Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, at the Lyons United Methodist Church, with Rev. Rose Sparks and Rev. Don Reed officiating.

Interment will follow in Prairie Chapel Cemetery.

Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Lyons and one-hour prior to the service Sunday at the church. There will be an Order of Eastern Star service at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.

The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to the Lyons United Methodist Church.
