Tommy Lee Jackson, 58, of Springville, passed away Sunday, Oct, 30, 2011 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.

Born Aug. 4, 1953 in Linton, he was the son of Vince H. and Frieda Marie (Carmichael) Jackson.

Tommy was retired from GE and a member of the Peerless Trinity Pentecostal Church where he served as a Deacon and treasurer.

Surviving relatives include his father Vince H. Jackson of Springville, two brothers, Johnnie (Connie) Jackson of Clarksville, Tenn., and Larry (Beth) Jackson of Bloomfield; a niece, Tiffany Hanner; two nephews, John Hanner and John (Jane Davis) Jackson; two aunts, Avis Roberts of Owensburg and Inis Inman of Bloomfield.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, and 11 a.m. on Wednesday until the hour of service at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Service will be at noon on Wednesday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Pastor Alan Phillips, the Rev. Keith Thompson and the Rev. Bert Arnett officiating. Burial will follow at Dishman Cemetery in Springville.

The family wishes any donations be made to the Peerless Trinity Pentecostal Church in Tommy's name in care of Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
