Edith Ann Bedwell, 81, of Linton, passed away at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2011, at her daughter's residence in Linton.

Born July 4, 1930, in Perkins, Mo., she was the daughter of Murrel and Letha (Parker) Brown. She married Raymond L. Bedwell on May 27, 1955.

Edith worked at Keller's Aluminum, Otis Elevator, and was a home-maker for several years. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

Surviving relatives include her three sons, Murrell Bedwell of Shelburn, Bill (Linda) Bedwell of Linton, and Ray (Bev) Bedwell of Jacksonville, Fla.; three daughters, Cindy (Mickey) Ball of Linton, Debbie (Jim) Flynn of Linton and Sue (Jeff) Horn of Dexter, Mo.; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; and a brother, William Z. Brown of Flint, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Raymond L Bedwell on March 27, 2011; one sister; two sons, Dennis and Gary; and three grandsons.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12, Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger with Pastor Doug Cassel officiating.

Friends may call at from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 11 at the funeral home.
