Thank you Greene County General

To the Editor:

I want to express my gratitude to the Physical Therapy Department (especially Kristen) at Greene County General Hospital.

After suffering with the most horrible pain for several years and seeing doctors and specialists, and undergoing test after test, only to be diagnosed with Fibromyalgia (which I don't have). Whoever would have thought I would find answers to my health issues right here in Greene County?

After an appointment with Dr. Parmenter (for severe pain in my feet) he sent me to physical therapy at GCGH. There I found a most caring heart who looked me in the eyes as I spoke. Kristen listened intently as I explained my symptoms and the suffering I had been experiencing for more than four years. Kristen's professional knowledge and compassion is beyond anything or anyone I've dealt with in the medical field for more than four years.

Thank you Greene County General Hospital for providing such a knowledgeable, caring professional within our community. I have a long road to recovery, thanks to Kristen (and all the staff) I can get the care I need here in our community without the extra time and cost of driving out of town. Thank you Kristen for striving to do all that you have done for me. I am forever grateful.

Thanks for making veteran feel welcome

To the Editor:

Being a World War II veteran I want to thank the Boy Scouts of Lyons for the honor and good meal they gave us. Also the mothers and whoever else helped fix the meal, thank you.

I also want to thank Jim Meng and his staff for the honor he showed for us and his cookies, iced tea, coffee and lemonade.

Again a big thanks to all of you.
