Nathan P. Walters, 75, of Linton, passed away at 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26 at his home in Linton.
He was born in Sullivan on July 27, 1936, and was the son of Cleo Walters and Lou Emma Bates Walters.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Carolyn Sue Parson Walters.
Survivors include a son, Bill Walters (Karen) of Jasonville; a daughter, Paula Shope of Terre Haute; two sisters, Evah Jean McCarter of Linton and Delores Sexton of Jasonville; and three grandchilren, Dustin and Justin Walters, and Bobby Slober.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 2 at Newkirk's Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Mesmer officiating. Interment will be at K of P Cemetery in Hymera. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time on Friday.
