Marjorie A. Loffland Fischer, 73, Greenfield, passed away peacefully on Friday, Dec. 2, 2011 surrounded by her family.
Marjorie was born December 18, 1937 in Bloomfield, to the late Russell L. and Maxine Flory Loffland.
She graduated from Bloomfield High School in 1955. She worked for the Indiana Employment Security Division and was a member of Trinity Southern Baptist Church. Marjorie truly enjoyed her family and traveling with her husband, Otto Fischer, who survives.
In addition to her parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Bates; a brother, Charles Loffland and grandson, Trevor Harrell.
Survivors include her beloved husband, Otto Fischer; children, Cheryl (Paul) Moore, Lisa Beatty (Mike Craney), Jerry Fischer and Marti (Paul) Finizio; a sister, Lorene Roberts; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great granddaughters.
Service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Oakley-Hammond Funeral Home, 5342 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, with calling there on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m.
