Doyle Dean "Dink" Miller, 74, formerly of Midland, Ind. passed away at 7:20 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, 2011 in his residence in Indianapolis.
He was born March 19, 1937 in Greenfield, Ind. to George Perry Miller and Margaret Arzella (Farrell) Miller.
Doyle married Katheryn "Deanne" (Cox) Miller Aug. 9, 1988 and she passed away on April 18, 2005.
Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Phyllis & Mike Fox of Mooresville, Ind., Vonda Bartholomew of Greenfield, Ind., Ronda and Gary Kehrt of Indianapolis, Portia Magnus of Indianapolis; a son, Doyle D. Miller, Jr. of Fountaintown, Ind.; sisters, Sonia Kay Voss of Texas, Karen Ann Rider of Columbus, Ind., Janice Elaine Harper of Missouri; brothers, Hubert Darrell Miller of Greenfield, Ind.; Lawrence Eugene Miller of Rushville, Ind., Harlan Dale Miller of Kentucky; Sarah C. Bolling of Fountaintown, Ind., the mother of Vonda, Ronda & Doyle; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; daughter, Paula Pauling; sisters, Barbara Jeanne Hagon, Vivian Sue Miller; brothers, George Perry Miller, Sterling Gale Miller, Marvin Neal Miller, Thomas Samuel Miller, Michael Lee Miller.
Doyle worked at Chrysler for 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, going to the casino and NASCAR.
Arrangements are entrusted to Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville.
Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. until service time Thursday. Funeral Services are 11 a.m. Thursday, December 15, 2011 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Sam Bush officiating.
Interment will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, IN
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
