She was born in Sullivan County on Dec. 19, 1946, the daughter of Everett Clark and Norma Mize Clark.
She was a loving mother and dear friend. She will be remembered as a beautiful, independent, intelligent and strong woman who enjoyed spending time with family and loved ones. She was an Avid gardener, and loved her plants and flowers.
Sheryl earned a degree from Vincennes University in Bio Medical Technology. She also completed a certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse from Ivy Tech. She was employed at Shakamak Good Samaritan Center in Jasonville.
She was involved with the Red Hat's Club, a member of the First Christian Church in Dugger.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include three sons, Jeff Camden of Kennesaw, Georgia, Shane Camden (Jodell) of Dugger, Damon Clark of Dugger; one daughter, Kelly Camden of Linton; two brothers, Everett Lee Clark (Joann) of Dugger and Ron Clark of Westphalia; eight grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, at Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger with Ryan Arnett officiating.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday.
There will be a private burial at a later date.
