Nancy E. (Inman) Persinger, 77, of Springville passed away Monday, Jan. 2, 2012 at the IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born Feb. 23, 1934 in Martin County Indiana the daughter of Harley and Lola (Utterback) Inman.
Nancy is retired from Bloomfield State Bank as a teller. She was a member of the Cincinnati Christian Church and the Solsberry American Legion Auxiliary, she was a former member of the Delta Theta Tau.
Surviving relatives include her two daughters; Kimberly Persinger Gunther (William) of Bloomington, and Deanna Persinger Hamlin (DeWayne) of Springville. Two grandchildren Lindsay A. Gunther of Nashville, TN and Jennifer D. Gunther White (Brandon) of Knoxville, TN. Two sister-in-laws; Betty Jo Inman of Springville and Beatrice Conley of Dunnellon, FL and several loved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Alvin Inman and Arthur Inman, and one daughter Teresa Persinger Long.
Friends may call at the Cincinnati Christian Church from 3 to 8 P.M. on Thursday and 10 A.M. Friday until the hour of service at the church.
Service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday at the Cincinnati Christian Church with Rev. Glen Stidd and Rev. Tony Stinson officiating. Burial will follow at Dishman Cemetery in Springville.
The family wishes any donations be made to the Solsberry American Legion or Delt's Scholarship Fund in care of Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
