Richard Warren Mishler, 50, of Greencastle, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012 at the Putnam County Hospital.
Born Feb. 6, 1961 in Greencastle, he was the son of Warren E. and Betty N. (Rollins) Mishler.
He was a graduate of Greencastle High School "class of 1979". He married Cindy L.(Vanlandingham) Mishler on June 5, 1982 and she survives.
Richard had been a truck driver with Roadway, now Y.R.C for several years. He had been active with the Boy Scouts, attending jamborees with his sons, receiving a mentor pin, and seeing his son become an Eagle Scout. He was a member of the Putnamville Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy; his sons, Richard Benjamin Mishler, Jordan Matthew Mishler and Daniel Robert Mishler; his parents, Warren and Betty; sisters, Rita (Jim) Jackson and Kathy (Larry) Jones; and a sister-in-law, Kathy Vanlandingham.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 24 at the Putnamville Baptist Church with Pastors Rick Brown and Jim Cooper officiating.
Interment will follow at the Boone-Hutcheson Cemetery
Friends may call at the Putnamville Baptist Church 637 E. US HWY 40 Cloverdale, IN from 5 -- 7 p.m. on Monday, January 23.
