She was born July 20, 1925 in Hymera, to Thomas Followell and Tressie (Williams) Followell.
Dorothy married Roy M. "Froggy" Terrell on May 5, 1945 and he passed away on May 2, 1988.
Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, Roy and Nancy Terrell of Jasonville; Gary Terrell of Jasonville; Terry Terrell of Terre Haute; grandchildren, Roy Terrell, Jr. and Tammie Goble, Angie and Todd Ridgeway, Tammy and John Street, Cory Terrell, Sean Terrell and Gayle Pinkston, Christy Terrell and Rob White, Cindy and Dave Carr, Eric and Jaclyn Terrell, Trisha and Danny North, Asheley and Dustin Zigler, Jennifer and Jon Franklin, Jonathon, Cody and Jessie Terrell; great-grandchildren, Tommy Terrell, Jordan Terrell, Kasandra Ridgeway, Todd Ridgeway, Jr., Ryan Street, Brittany Spangenberg and Jeff McCullough, Tasha Terrell, Case Terrell, Ava Singhurst, Tyler and Austyn Richardson, Matthew and Mercedes Phillips, Jaelyn Carr and Emily Carr, Gracey Caddell and Ally Caddell, Griffin Terrell, Olivia Terrell, Kyle North, Isabella Kutch, Zoe Franklin, Emma Franklin; great-great-grandson, Easton Spangenberg; nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons, Larry "Louie" Terrell, Danny Terrell; three brothers, eight sisters.
She worked at Formfit for 16 years, Underwood Electric, and retired from Charles Industries. She had attended Jasonville Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed yard sales, working puzzles and collecting frogs.
Arrangements are entrusted to Cox Funeral Home in Jasonville with visitation from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. until service time Thursday.
Funeral service is at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26 at the funeral home with Pastor Dennis Myers officiating.
Interment will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland.
