Geneva R. Lehman-Hovey, 93, of Deland, Fla. and formerly of Linton, passed away at 8:20 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012 at the Florida Lutheran Health Center in Deland.

She was born Nov. 21, 1918 in Linton, the daughter of David E. and Margaret (Bland) Lehman.

She was a homemaker and formerly attended the Church of God in Linton.

Survivors include her daughter, Marilee Ann (Richard C.) Hovey-Ray of Deland, Fla., one grandson, Johnny (Debra) Ray, and four great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Grant, Jahna Ray, Jesse Ray, and Jeremy Woolever.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John S. Hovey on Aug. 27, 1986, and nine siblings, Iva Huey, Chester, Clyde, Raymond, Don, Ada, and Pearl Lehman, Lavena Seymour, and Oma Frederick.

A funeral service will be conducted at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton at 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 27 with John Catchem officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
