Terry L. DeCamp, 59, of Lyons, passed away at 6:05 p.m. Monday, Jan. 30, 2012 at his residence.

Born Jan. 10, 1953 in Missouri, he was the son of Mayo and Beth Maxine (Iler) DeCamp.

He was a lineman for Smithville Telephone Company. He was a member of the Lyons American Legion Post #470, the NRA and served his country in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper.

Surviving relatives include: his wife, Pamela DeCamp; two sons, Paul Nichols of Linton and William Kolling of Lyons; two daughters, Peggy Wilson of Indianapolis and Wendy Shireman of St. Louis, Missouri; grandchildren, Amelia, Audrey, Zachary, Devon, Jason, Paul, Andrew, Tythan, Dalton and Michelle; 10 brothers and 10 sisters.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial service will be conducted 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3, 2012 at the Lyons Assembly of God, 610 W. Prairie Street, with Rev. Gerald DeVore officiating. Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Lyons is in charge of arrangements.
