Born Aug. 16, 1935 in Henderson, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Elmer and Virlie (Crawford) Scott.
She was a homemaker.
Surviving relatives include: two daughters, Jackie Cullison of Dugger and Misty Bredeweg of Bloomington; one brother, Bobby Scott of Ohio; two sisters, Betty Jones of Linton and June Crow of Evansville; grandchildren, Amanda Chambers, Kimberly Sisk (Jason), Tiffany Farris (Matt), Tara Cullison, Michael Bredeweg, Whitney Bredeweg and Brittany Bredeweg; great-grandchildren, Caitlin Chambers, Austin Cole, Liam Swaby, Lily Sisk, Leah Sisk, Seth Farris, Lexi Farris, Matthew Farris, Jr., Cordelia Cullison and Kayvon Bredeweg.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Donald Chambers on May 1, 1996; one daughter, Angie Chambers; three brothers, Charles Scott, Clarence Scott and Thomas Scott; four sisters, Wanda LeRoy, Jean Stanley, Vonda Haire and Sharon Raines and her parents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2012 at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with Rev. Dan Kemp officiating. Interment will follow in Scotland cemetery.
