Born Nov. 11, 1925, in Needmore, she was the daughter of Glen and Goldia (Booker) McGlothlin.
She retired from the Bloomfield State Bank as a bookkeeper and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Mineral United Methodist Church, Mineral Ladies Aid and the United Methodist Women.
Surviving relatives include: three daughters, Connie Burris, of Jasonville, Jeanne Patterson of Lyons and Mary Ann Johnson of Bloomfield; grandchildren, Nikki Abrams (Mike), Kristi Vandeventer (Adam), Erica Williams, Peggy Williams, Christie Moore (Jay), Logan Williams (Terran), Jason Coker (Michele), Chad Patterson (Tabby), Crystal Patterson, Ryan Arford, Jarod Arford and Jordan Arford; great-grandchildren, Jaspar Moore, Caleb Moore, Ciera Abrams, Jaden Abrams, Brynn Vandeventer, Aria Williams and Caden Johnson; one brother, Gene McGlothlin of Mineral; and one sister, Jerri Achors of Scotland.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gale B. Williams in 1986, two sons, Larry G. Williams and Dennis G. Williams, two sisters, Violet Ruth and Eva Mae and her parents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, April 2, 2012 at the Mineral United Methodist Church, with Rev. Steve Eads officiating. Interment will follow in Ashcraft Chapel cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield and one hour prior to services Monday at the church.
The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to the Mineral United Methodist Church.
