Rodney R. Cullison, 58, of Hymera passed away at 9:50 a.m. Thursday, April 5, 2012 in his residence.
He was born May 24, 1953 in Sullivan to Ronald E. Cullison and Deloris (Burton) Cullison.
Survivors include his spouse, Patricia "Teresa" (Rowe) Cullison of Hymera, whom he married on May 3, 2006; daughter, Candy K. Cullison and Terry Rains of Bowling Green, IN; sons and daughters-in-law, Darrick & Jaime Cullison of Hymera, Nick & Jessica Cullison of Hymera; mother, Deloris Cullison of Linton; grandmother, Juanita Hill of Hymera; step-son, Eli Thompson of Hymera; sister, Deann and John James of Linton; brother, Jack Cullison of Linton; mother-in-law, Ruth Swiger of Sullivan; 11 grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father; grandparents, Fred & Marie Cullison and Virgil & Lucille Bose and grandfather, Roy Hill.
Rod had worked at G.E., was a U.S. Army veteran and was a member of the Linton National Guard. He was well known for his love and passion for his family, friends and animals. Rod was an ordained minister and had great love for the Lord.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street, Jasonville with Visitation scheduled from 10:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Norman Santus officiating.
Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Wilfred with military graveside rites.
