Milburn Wever, 99, of Springville passed away Thursday May 10, 2012 at Garden Villa in Bloomington.
Born January 4, 1913, in Lawrence County, Ind. he was the son of Andrew Thorton Wever and Helen (McMillan) Wever.
Milburn was a self-employed farmer and drove a school bus for the Monroe County Schools. He was a 73 year member of the Bloomfield Oddfellows Lodge, a member of the Kirksville Lions Club and a member of the Popcorn Christian Church.
Surviving relatives include his wife of 78 years Anna Lois Wever of Springville, his eight children; Robert David Wever (Joyce) of Oottewah, Tenn.; Roland Lee Wever (Carolyn) of Springville, Ruby May Hubbard of Bloomington, Ruth Ann Bailey (Jerry) of Bloomington, Roy Milburn Wever (Connie) of Ellettsville, Rita Kay Hash (Bob) of Ellettsville, Roger Wayne Wever of Springville and Rena Joy Ogle (Terry) of Springville. He has twenty three grandchildren, forty nine great grandchildren and eighteen great, great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son-in-law and one great grandson.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday May 14, 2012 and 10 a.m. Tuesday until the hour of service all at the Popcorn Christian Church.
Services will be held at 11 a.m.. on Tuesday at the Popcorn Christian Church with Rev Lloyd Swango and Rev. Jerry Wisely officiating. Burial will follow at Lowder Cemetery in Lawrence County.
