Everett E. Ellis, 80, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 3:10 p.m. Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Sullivan County Community Hospital in Sullivan.
He was born Nov. 4, 1931 in Clay City to Henry Ellis and Flora Blanton Ellis .
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Donna Rose (Kent) Ellis of Jasonville, whom he married on Feb. 9, 1952; son and daughters-in-law, Tony and Mary Ellis of Jasonville; brothers and sisters-in-law,Larry and Pat Ellis and Gary and Leandra Ellis both of Bloomfield; grandchildren, Amy and Mike Moriarity of Bluffton, IN and Emily and John Kramer of Bruceville, IN; great-grandchildren, Joshua, Hayley and Autumn Moriarity and Luke and Kent Kramer; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Anna Mae Cruse
Everett was an independent truck driver and farmer. He had attended and been a member of Olive Branch Baptist Church and First Baptist Church of Sebring. FL
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, IN with visitation scheduled from 4 -- 8 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 16 at the Cox Funeral Home with Pastor Myron Young officiating.
Interment will be at Peavey Cemetery in Howesville, IN.
