GREENE COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT JAIL LOG

* May 14 ---- Charles T. Bristow, 43, of Indianapolis, was arrested by an Indiana Department of Natural Resources Conservation Officer on a preliminary charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Bond was set at $4,000.

* May 13 ---- Arin R. Botkins, 29, of Bloomfield, was arrested by the Bloomfield Police Department on a preliminary charge of battery with injury, public intoxication. Released after posting $1,500 bond. Court date set for 8:30 a.m. on May 18.

* May 13 ---- Anthony W. Sowders, 41, of Spencer, was arrested by the Linton City Police Department on preliminary charges of driving while suspended; and for being an habitual traffic violator. Bond set at $5,000.

* May 13 ---- Clifton Campbell, 38, of Bloomfield, was arrested by the Greene County Sheriff's Department on a preliminary charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated. He was released after posting $4,000 bond. Court date set for 8:30 a.m. on May 21.

* May 13 ---- Sandra J. Millem, 57, of Linton, was arrested by the Linton City Police Department on preliminary charges of public intoxication; resisting law enforcement. Released after posting $1,500 bond. Court date set for 8:30 a.m. on May 21.

* May 12 ---- Jeremiah D. Jackson, 29, of Jasonville, was arrested by the Greene County Sheriff's Department on a warrant charging him with two counts of identity deception. Bond set at $8,000.

* May 12 ---- Sheri L. Fiscus, 31, of Jasonville, was arrested by the Greene County Sheriff's Department on a warrant charging her with driving while suspended. Bond set at $5,000.

* May 12 ---- Ronald L. Ghislain, 44, of Westport, IN was arrested by the Greene County Sheriff's Department on a preliminary charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Bond set at $4,000.

* May 11 ---- Christy A. Blank, 39, of Solsberry, was arrested by the Greene County Sheriff's Department on a preliminary charge of battery with injury. Bond set at $1,000.

* May 11 ---- Erin D. Dove, 33, of Route 4, Linton, was arrested by the Linton City Police Department, on a preliminary charge of theft and criminal trespass. Bond set at $4,000.

* May 11 ---- Jenny M. Bay, 31, of Switz City, was arrested by the Bloomfield Police Department on a preliminary charge of driving while suspended with a prior conviction. Released after posting $1,000 bond. Court date set for 8:30 a.m. on May 18.

* May 11 ---- Chasity Ramie, 31, of Linton, was arrested by the Linton City Police Department on a preliminary charge of attempted possession of a controlled substance. No bond set pending a court appearance.

* May 11 ---- Shannon M. Atkinson, 22, of Worthington, was arrested by the Worthington Police Department on a preliminary charge of theft. Released after posting $4,000 bond. Court date set for 8:30 a.m. in May 16.

* May 11 ---- Lorilee A. Montgomery, 46, of rural Jasonville, was arrested by the Greene County Sheriff's Department on a warrant charging her with failure to appear in court on a check deception charge. Released after posting $5,000 bond. Court date set for 9:30 a.m. on May 18.

LINTON POLICE DEPARTMENT ACTIVITY LOG

The Linton Police Department activity log for May 11-13 included: One forgery/counterfeiting case; one illegal burn; one follow up investigation; three protective order violations; one drug investigation; one civil complaint; one public intoxication case; one missing/run away juvenile; one reckless driving complaint; four property damage traffic accidents; one animal complaint; three suspicious vehicles/persons; one burglary; one harassment complaint; one intoxicated/possible driver; two theft cases; one shoplifting case; one report of an abandoned vehicle; one community relations detail; and 31 traffic stops.

* May 13 ---- LPD Patrolman Brock Garrison clocked a Spencer man traveling 93 miles per hour in a 55 mph zone at County Road 100N and State Road 67 in Switz City. A computer check showed that the driver of the 1988 Buick, Anthony W. Sowders, 41, was suspended for being a habitual traffic violator (HTV). During an inventory of the car's contents, police found he was in possession of a Schedule II controlled substance. He was arrested and bond was set at $5,000.

* May 13 ---- LPD located Sandra J. Millem, 57, of Linton, in an alley after she was reported to be intoxicated and walking down the road. When officers approached her, she fled on foot through the alley.

She was caught a short time later and arrested on preliminary charges of public intoxication; resisting law enforcement, according to a report filed by investigating officer LPD Patrolman Brock Garrison. She was released after posting $1,500 bond. Court date was set for 8:30 a.m. on May 21.

* May 11 ---- LPD was dispatched to the Linton Super Walmart store on State Road 54 on a shoplifting complaint.

Store asset management personnel allegedly observed 33-year-old Erin D. Dove, of Route 4, Linton removing tags from items and concealing them in a diaper bag. Dove allegedly left the store without paying for items valued at $137.74. As she left the store, LPD Sgt. Det. Josh Goodman stopped Dove in the parking lot. In addition, Dove had signed a form on Sept. 13, 2011 that restricted her from being on Walmart property. She was arrested on preliminary charges of theft ---- a class D felony; and criminal trespass ---- a class A misdemeanor. Bond was set at $4,000.

* May 11 ---- LPD officers working with the Greene County Drug Task Force arrested Chastity M. Ramie, 31, Linton on a preliminary charge of attempted possession of a controlled substance ---- a class D felony. During a narcotics investigation, Ramie is alleged to have met with an undercover police officer to the purpose of purchasing Hydrocodone ---- a Schedule II controlled substance. Upon providing the undercover officer with some U.S. currency, she was arrested, according to investigating officer Josh Goodman. No bond was immediately set.
