Shortly after her 81st birthday Jacqueline "Jackie" Rumple passed away in her home on May 16, 2012.
She was a homemaker, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother and Matriarch of over 50 children.
Born on April 14, 1931 in Coupeville, Wash., was raised on a farm, married Jerry Rumple who was in the Navy and when he retired the family moved to Indiana to work the family farm. She worked at the Loganberry Farm, the Rod & Gun Club, Formfit, Good Samaritan Nursing Home, and Fun-n-Sun Pools.
There will be a gathering of all friends & family on Saturday, May 19 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in her home in Howesville, Ind. Please, no flowers, if you feel so inclined, donate to Wounded Warriors or the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Rumple, and her parents, Irene and Pat Wanamaker of Coupeville, Wash., and her husband's parents, Louise and Oscar Rumple.
Survivors include five sons: John and Phyllis Wanamaker of Henderson, Nev.; Pat and Linda Wanamaker of Paulsbo, Wash.; Robbie and Marsha Wanamaker of Oak Harbor, Wash.; James and Lois Rumple of Howesville, Ind.; Jerry and Karen Rumple, of Greenwood, Ind. Three daughters: Renay and Joe Corrigan of Linton, Ruan and Michael Fougerousse of Switz City, and Rachel and Clint Sparks of Howesville, Ind.
