Larry was born Oct. 5, 1940 in Ellettsville, to Clinton and Marjorie May.
Raised in Ellettsville, he was a 1958 graduate of Ellettsville High School. He worked at RCA/Thompson 39 years and served in the Indiana National Guard for six years. He was also an auctioneer, cattle farmer, buyer and seller of goods, joke teller and hobby poet.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Carol; son, Kenneth; daughter, Lisa; four grandchildren; two sisters; two nephews; and three nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, two brothers-in-law and two nephews.
Larry was blessed to be surrounded by friends, family, classmates and loving neighbors throughout his life and even through his last days and hours.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 4-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 26, at 11:00 at Chandler Funeral Home in Ellettsville with burial at Presbyterian Cemetery.
