GREENE COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT JAIL LOG

* June 10 ---- Ryan R. Lewis, 30, of Linton, was arrested by the Linton City Police Department on warrant charging him with residential entry, intimidation and battery resulting in injury. Bond set at $9,000.

* June 10 ---- Billy R. Schubla, 59, of Linton, was arrested by the Linton City Police Department on a preliminary charge of driving while suspended with a prior conviction. Released after posting $1,000 bond. Court date set for 8:30 a.m. June 15.

* June 10 ---- Anthony I. Lewis, 28, of Linton, was arrested by the Linton City Police Department on preliminary charges of public intoxication and resisting law enforcement. Bond set at $2,000.

* June 9 ---- Carl L. Finley, 42, no address given, was arrested by the Jasonville City Police Department on a preliminary charge of theft Bond set at $4,000.

* June 9 ---- Donnie R. Brashear, 44, of Jasonville, was arrested by the Linton City Police Department on a preliminary charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Bond set at $8,000.

* June 9 ---- Jeffrey A Whitfield, Jr., 29, of Solsberry, was arrested be Bloomfield Town Police Department on a preliminary charge of resisting law enforcement. Released after posting $1,000 bond. Court date set for 8:30 a.m. on June 15.

* June 9 ---- Ralph W. Lifford, 33, of Linton, was arrested by the Linton City Police Department on a preliminary charge of driving while suspended with prior conviction. Released after posting $1,000 bond. Court date set for 8:30 a.m. on June 15.

LINTON POLICE DEPARTMENT ACTIVITY LOG

The Linton Police Department activity log for June 8-10 included: One refusing to leave case; three follow up investigations; one fight; one custody dispute/exchange; three criminal mischief cases; four property damage traffic accidents; three animal complaints; eight suspicious vehicles/persons; two harassment complaints; one child abuse/molest/neglect case; one intoxicated driver; one reckless driver; four thefts reported; two domestic dispute cases; three battery cases; and 49 traffic stops.

* June 10 ---- LPD Officer Brock Garrison stopped 59-year-old Billy R. Schubla, of Linton, at 6:10 a.m. at 9th Street NE and E Street for not using a turn signal and driving left of center. The officer rank a computer check of Schubla's driving status and found him to be suspended with a prior conviction. He was arrested and taken to the county jail. Schubla was released after posting $1,000 bond. Court date was set for 8:30 a.m. on June 15.

* June 10 ---- LPD Officer Michael Watts arrested Anthony I. Lewis, 28, of Linton, on preliminary charges of public intoxication and resisting law enforcement. after officers responded to a fight in progress at McDonald's parking lot, located just off of State Road 54. Lewis had allegedly taken a cell phone and then threw it. He allegedly tried to make the owner give him money for it, according to a LPD news release. When officers attempted to talk to Lewis, he allegedly continued to yell and make aggressive gestures. When officers tried to restrain Lewis, he allegedly resisted by trying to pull his arms free. Officers suspect Lewis was intoxicated by alcohol at the time of his arrest, according to the news release. Assisting with the arrest was LPD Det. Paul Clark. Bond for Lewis was set at $2,000.

June 9 ---- LPD Officer Michael Watts conducted a traffic stopped at 1:38 a.m. for an equipment violation at State Road 54 and 4th Street NE. It was determined that driver Ralph W. Lifford, Jr., 33, of Route 4, Linton as driving the vehicle on a suspended license with a prior conviction. He was arrested and taken to the county jail in Bloomfield. He was released after posting $1,000 bond. Court date set for 8:30 a.m. on June 15.
