(Photo contributed by the Diocese of Evansville) Charles Thompson, named the fifth bishop of the Diocese of Evansville in 2011, will visit Jasonville's St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church at 5 p..m. Saturday to celebrate mass. The visit is part of the new bishop's ongoing effort to visit every one of the 69 churches in his diocese. Parishioners plan a reception following Saturday afternoon's service.
