He was a master electrician and retired from NWSC Crane. He was a member of Samaria Church in Dugger and was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, Debra L. (Baker) Coleman, to whom he was married Feb. 10, 1973; two sons, Tod Allen Coleman of Linton and Bud L. Coleman of Indianapolis; a sister, Linda (Bob) Bowen of Carlisle; two brothers, Lonnie (Cindy) Coleman of Sullivan and Kenny Coleman of Melbourne, Fla.; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday., Aug. 11, at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton, Pastor Gary Shaw officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Wilfred. Military graveside services will be conducted.
Visitation will be at 11 a.m. Saturday until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
