Robert D. Fuller, 68, of Bloomington passed away peacefully at the Hospice House in Bloomington on Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012 with his family by his bedside.

Robert (Bob) was born on December 3, 1943 to Arthur D. and Pauline (Gilham) Fuller of Owensburg, IN.

Bob attended and graduated from Oolitic High School where he enjoyed playing basketball and baseball. During his high school years Bob met his wife to be Carol S. (Hawkins) Fuller to whom he would be married to for the next 46 years until her death in 2009.

Bob was employed by ARA Services as a route man and retired from there in 2002. During his life and marriage with Carol, they raised three children and enjoyed the additional five granddaughters that followed. Bob enjoyed the company of family and friends as well as watching and attending I.U. Basketball games, NASCAR race events and his beloved N.Y Yankees.

Bob will be mourned by his two sisters Helen (Fuller) Kiser of Indianapolis and Donna (Fuller) White of Borden, IN; his son Timothy and Ambur Fuller of Owensburg, IN; his daughter Angela (Fuller) and Michael Davis of Bloomington; along with his granddaughters, Natascha and Annika Fuller and Megan, Rachel, and Andrea Davis.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, spouse and son Tracy Fuller (2010).

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m., Friday, August 24, 2012 at Day Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 23, at Day Funeral Home, 4150 E. Third Street in Bloomington.

The family asks in lieu of flowers a donation be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 50 E. 91st St. Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46209.
