Teresa was born May 9, 1951 in Linton to Doris Jean Frye Capien and Laudice "Bud" Raymond Jenkins.
She attended Eastern School. In her early years Teresa worked on the Solsberry-based Ambulance Service, local nursing homes and was one of the first few employees of Van Tech in Spencer, Indiana, currently Boston Scientific where she retired from. She was a member of Bloomington Amvets.
Her greatest joys were her family and her many friendships with others. Teresa enjoyed knitting, Colts football, NASCAR, and took pleasure watching the farm animals frolic in the neighbors field. Teresa's infectious laughter, sense of humor, sweet spirit, generosity with her gift giving which she delivered in a special tote bag are just the highlights of the joy she brought to all who knew her. Teresa will be forever missed as she left a lasting impression in the hearts and souls of many.
Bryan and Brooks would like to thank all the doctors and their staff for taking good care of their mother.
She is survived by her sons, Steven Bryan Jones (companion Pam Langley) and Brooks William Jenkins Jones; one brother Bill (Wanda) Jenkins, one sister-in-law Jean Jenkins; and her faithful pet dogs, Little Man and Roxie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Bob Jenkins, maternal grandparents William Logan and Emma Jane (Shaffer) Frye, paternal grandparents George and Eva (Alexander) Jenkins.
