She was born on Dec. 20, 1913, in Bucktown, Ind., the daughter of Rush Enochs and Gertie (Carrico) Enochs.
Ruth graduated from Pleasantville High School and was a seamstress at Gossards. She was a member of Eastern Star for 50 years and Faith Community Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Lowell Hale in 1967; and her second husband, Warren Haub in 2000; one son, Ricky Hale; one daughter, Linda Conners; two sisters, Dorothy Jerrels, and Anchor McKee and twins Ester and Chester.
Survivors include three sons, Norman Hale (Bobbi) of St. Paul, Ind., Larry Hale (Faye) of Fallbrook, Calif., and Alan Hale of Linton; two daughters, Vickie Richardson of Shelburn, and Karla Loudermilk (Mike) of Dugger; four brothers, Alto Enochs, Virgil Enochs, Claude Enochs, and Don Enochs; 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 29, at Newkirk's Funeral Home with Pastor Shawn Farris officiating.
Burial will follow at Dugger Cemetery in Dugger.
