The Eastern Greene High School volleyball team extended its conference winning streak to 29 with a 25-16, 25-16, 25-19 victory over host Clay City Tuesday night.

The Lady Thunderbirds improved to 27-2 overall, 6-0 in the Southwestern Indiana Athletic Conference.

"Peyton did an outstanding job. She had a great game," said EG coach Gina Ingram. "She came in and was very aggressive with her swings from the outside.

"She really kept Clay City on their heels from her position. She continues to do an outstanding job."
