Thank you for supporting showcase

To the Editor:

On behalf of the Greene County Tourism Advisory Board (GCTAB), I would like to express our thanks to the residents of Greene County for the success of our first annual "Made-in-Greene-County" Showcase.

The event is a culmination of several years of pre-planning activities by several volunteers and officers of GCTAB. However, more specifically, I must also thank the vendors who took a chance on our event, because without each and every one of them, the event would not have been possible. Whether producer, shopper, vendor, volunteer, or coordinator; I extend my sincere thanks to each and every person and family member. We are already looking forward to an even bigger and better event next year ... so keep the last weekend of September on your calendar.

I would also like to especially thank the following persons, organizations, and businesses that we begged, borrowed, and convinced to support of our first year effort. Thanks. We could not have done it with you!
