Linton-Stockton defeated North Daviess 68-0 and 60-6 in two junior varsity football games played recently.
In the shutout, Trent Vowell had 10 tackles and Jace Herndon added eight.
The Miner defense caused four turnovers.
Mitch Eberhardt rushed eight times for 188 yards including TD runs of 61, 5, 35 and 35, all in the first half.
Chad Trent caught a 25-yard TD pass from Zach Phegley. Trent also had a 10-yard scoring run and a two-point conversion run.
Pierce Jackson kicked four point after touchdowns, Austin Hale had TD runs of 20 and 2 yards and Josh Graber (4) and Phegley (5) also had short touchdown runs.
In the second meeting on Oct. 1 at North Daviess, Trent tossed a 40-yard TD pass to Joe Diebol.
Trent also had a 15 yard fumble return for a score as well as throwing a two-point conversion pass to Curtis Cox.
Hale had TD runs of 20 and 10 yards and finished with 101 yards on nine rushes. Eberhardt scored twice -- from the 11 and the 25 -- and tallied 88 yards on seven rushes.
Indiana Miller and Jackson also had TD runs and Vowell had a two-point conversion run. Jackson booted two extra points.
Zach Riddell had 12 tackles, six for loss.
"We are continuing to improve and get better every game," said Miner coach Brian Oliver.
