Members of the community gathered for Purdue Extension - Greene County's Semi-Annual Open House organized by the 4-H Council, Purdue Extension and the Greene County P-CARET Chapter (Purdue Council on Agricultural Research, Extension and Teaching) last evening.
Good conversation and fun was had by all!
Games were coordinated by 4-H Junior Leaders for potential Mini 4-Hers. Leaders from Greene County 4-H clubs were there to answer questions about their respective clubs. Purdue Extension, Master Gardeners and Greene County Extension Homemakers/Open Class Fair were also on hand to discuss their various programming related to Agriculture, Community Development, Health and Youth Development.
Highlights included the 4-H Green Kettle Corn served up to all.
Special thanks go to the 4-H Council for their work in organizing and planning this open house.
A thank you also to Susan Sachtjen, Greene County's P-CAREt member for organizing the legislative event.
Thank you to all the local political candidates who came to learn more about Extension programming.
