Bonnie Sharon (Eastridge) Evans, born Aug. 29, 1942 to Lorene Gammon in French Lick, went to be with her Lord and eternal family on Oct. 13, 2012 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
She married Charles L. Evans on April 7, 1975 and together they made their home in Scotland, Bonnie was a homemaker, loving wife, mother and grandmother. She likes to have her family and friends around her and enjoyed visiting over coffee.
She was a member of the Harvest Community Church and the American Legion Auxiliary Unit # 196 of Bloomfield.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years, three daughters, Dawn (Howard) Briscoe, Tonya (Rick) Schroyer, Toni (John) Blackmore, one son, Richard (April) Evans, three step-daughters, Tracy Evans, Sandy (Frank) Bradley, Kristie Evans (Melissa Cox), her grandchildren, Michael Gentry, Nathan Schroyer, Joshua (Kristin) Howell, Jacob (Alisha) Blackmore, Bobby (Hannah) Howell, Danielle (Tanner) Vaught, Kellie Evans, Matthew Evans and Jocelyn Evans. She has nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Victoria (William) Russell and Pamela (Jerry) Massingale, several nieces, nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her mother and brother and sister-in-law John "Bill" and Barbara Stone.
Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. on Thursday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Graveside services will be private at Scotland Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
