He was born on June 11, 1930 in Gambill, Ind., the son of the late Cecil Justus Sr. and Cressie Alice (Fines) Justus. Cecil married Norma L. Corbin on March 29, 1952.
He was a retired block operator for Con-Rail Railroad, where he worked for 34 years, a member of the First Christian Church in Scottsburg, Ind., where he served as a former deacon and elder, and a U.S. Marine Corp. veteran of the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Harley Justus and a sister, Janet Henico.
Survivors include his wife, Norma L. Justus; a son, Kim Lee Justus and his wife Becky of Scottsburg, Ind.; a daughter, Tracee A. Lamb and her husband Lynn of Scottsburg, Ind.; a brother, Willis Justus of Mooresville, Ind.; a sister, Laura Fulk of Worthington, Ind.; two grandchildren, Amber Hill and Jacob Justus and three great -grandchildren, Jordan Meadow, Raygan and Kennedy Justus.
Funeral services are 1 a.m. Thursday Nov. 1 at Collins Funeral Home with Dr. Tom Mobley officiating.
Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday. Interment will be in Scottsburg Cemetery. Memorial Contributions: Alzheimer's Research
