The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Freezing Fog Advisory for Greene and Sullivan counties until 9 a.m. Thursday.
Visibilities are at or below one-quarter mile could develop in many places. Slick spots could develop on untreated roadways.
Dense freezing fog has formed across western Indiana under clear skies and calm winds and is spreading east. This fog is expected to continue through daybreak across the area when sunshine should rapidly cause the fog to dissipate.
Several local schools will be operating on a two-hour delay today, including: Linton-Stockton, Bloomfield, White River Valley, Shakamak, Eastern Greene, Southwest Sullivan, North Daviess, Northeast Sullivan, Clay Community and Spencer-Owen.
