Seniors Scottie Ingram and Casie Divine have both earned All-state and All-Star honors following their final year in a Lady Thunderbird uniform.
For Ingram, who recently signed to play college volleyball at Murray State University, this year produced her second consecutive Indiana All-State first team selection.
Ingram led the state in kills per set for the majority of the season before finishing in third place (5.90) overall and second in Class 2A.
She completed the year with a total of 110 sets played with 649 total kills.
For Divine the year was just as successful.
She earned her second straight all-state second team honor and was among the leaders in Class 2A in kills per set as well.
In 110 sets Divine finished the 2012 season with 446 kills, that's an average of 4.05 per set placing her seventh in class 2A.
Both players were further honored this past weekend when they were members of the Class A/2A South All-Star Team. The duo helped the South to a victory in a best two-of-three set format against all-stars from the North.
The event, sponsored by the Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Association, took place at Perry Meridian High School in Indianapolis.
