James Paul "Pud" Cundiff, 86, of Bloomfield passed away Monday, Nov. 26, 2012 at the IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington.
Born Aug. 12, 1926 in Trinity Springs, Ind., he the son of Charles A. and Chloe (Wagoner) Cundiff.
James was retired from Crane as an Inspector and attended the South Side Wesleyan Church in Bloomfield. He was a Navy veteran of WWII.
Surviving relatives include Surviving relatives include his wife Deloris Cundiff of Bloomfield; his children: Eddie Cundiff of Shoals, Judy Bates of Bloomington, John Cundiff of Bloomington and Shelba Jones of Bedford; he has 10 grandchildren, Makayla Cundiff of Shoals, Cynthia Harding of Lafayette, Christina Cundiff of Bloomington, Mary Savage of Iowa, Kathy Cundiff of Bloomington, Eric Bates of Mooresville, Alanda Campbell of Bloomington, Brian Jones of Bedford, Heather Bartlett of Heltonville and Renee Cundiff of Logansport; and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son: Paul Eugene Cundiff; three sisters, Leotia Sheetz, Rose Perkins and Beulah Sheetz; five brothers, George, Woodrow, Lovell, Gene and Ivan Cundiff; and his parents.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today, and noon Wednesday until the hour of service at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with the Rev. Danny Gilley and Rev. Gerald Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Springs Cemetery in Trinity Springs, Indiana.
