Born July 20, 1945 in Linton, she was the daughter of Russell (Jack) and Martha Louise (Royal) Cox.
She attended Eastern Schools and Ivy Tech. She worked at Crane, RCA and ABB.
Anita was a huge Elvis fan and had a 40 year collection of Elvis memorabilia. She loved traveling to Graceland.
Anita's greatest joys were her grandchildren. She was eagerly anticipating the arrival of her first great-grandchild, Hadley Rae Price in the Spring of 2013.
Surviving relatives include: her daughters, Karen (Toren) Rash of Bloomfield and Michelle (Fred) Peterson of Fishers; brothers, Robert (Millie) Cox and Don cox all of Solsberry; sisters, Kathy Arthur of Spencer and Helen (Rick) Murley of Solsberry; grandchildren, Nathan Rash of Bloomfield, Hannah (Anthony) Price of Bloomfield and Ryleigh Peterson of Fishers; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, Nov. 30, 2012 at Jenkins & Sons Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Interment will follow in Walnut Grove cemetery in rural Bloomfield.
Public visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday and 1 hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home.
The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ in Bloomington.
