Wolverines remain unbeaten

The White River Valley Wolverines improved to 3-0 overall and 1-0 in the Southwestern Indiana Athletic Conference following a 54-43 win over host North Central Saturday night at Farmersburg.

The win came despite being outscored 22-19 in the second half, but thanks to a solid 16-9 edge in the second quarter, WRV posted the victory.

The Wolverines led 19-12 at the first stop, 35-21 at the halftime break and 42-35 after three quarters.

Two players reached double figures for WRV as Cade Hill led the way with 14 points while Mitch Ingram added 10.

Luke Mowery finished with eight while Michael Fisher added five points, Justin Barnett, Cade Hill and Jorden English added four each for the Wolverines who return to action Friday when they host Eminence at 6 p.m.
