More honors for Miner gridders

Monday, December 3, 2012

The Indiana Football Coaches Association has named five members of the Linton-Stockton football team to their All-State and Junior All-State slate for 2012.

Named Class A All-State by the organization were senior quarterback Austin Karazsia, senior running back Koye Kaiser and senior defensive lineman Ethan Lannan.

Named to the group's junior all-state team were receiver Grant Stamm and linebacker Dane Rupska.

"I think a lot of guys making it says a lot about our team," Miner coach Steve Weber said. "Five guys being named says a lot about them and about the quality of our team."

The Miners finished 13-1 and were Southwest Seven and sectional and regional champions.
