Lady Miners win

The Linton-Stockton seventh grade girls basketball team got into the win column Thursday with a 30-10 victory over North Central.

Brantli Lannan led the way with 12 points. Ryleigh Fidler and Carroline Wilson added six points, Zoie Phegley scored five and Skylar Tucker added one point.

In the eighth grade game, the Lady Milers won 27-16.

Taylor Thuis had nine points, while Taylor Moore scored seven to go along with six steals.

Jorden House scored five points, Brooklyn Smith had four and Delaney Morin added two.

On Tuesday, the seventh graders defeated Dugger 26-17.

Fidler led all scorers with 12 points. Lannan had eight points and six steals, Tucker and Phegley both scored two and Carline Wilson grabbed nine rebounds to go with two points.

In the eighth grade game, the Lady Miners won 41-13.

Thuis had 11 points, 10 rebounds and six blocks.

House added 11 points and four steals. Moore had six points and nine rebounds.

Drew Moronez added four points, seven steals and nine rebounds and Faith Logan scored three points, Smith and Camryn Huffman both contributed two points and four assists and Morin added four blocks and two points.
