The Linton Police Department's activity log for Monday included one request for information only, one accident with personal injury, three accidents with property damage, three medical/illness, two alarms, one theft, one disabled or stranded vehicle, one domestic dispute -- neighbor, and two traffic stops.
The log for Tuesday included one incident of disorderly conduct, one accident with personal injury, two medical/illness, one alarm, one assist to another agency and one abandoned vehicle.
Dec. 24 -- LPD Officer Chad Crynes responded to an accident involving two vehicles at the intersection of State Roads 59 and 54 at 4:31 p.m. on Christmas Eve. One vehicle was traveling on SR 54 and another on SR 59. One was attempting a turn and according to witnesses, one vehicle disregarded a red light and the two collided. Total damage was estimated between $5,000-10,000 but no injuries were reported.
