* Dec. 27 -- Isaac B. Donie, 27, of Linton, was arrested after he was stopped for alleged erratic driving around 4 a.m. in the area of Main and Vincennes streets. Officer Paul Clark reported he observed a black Nissan Titan truck turn south onto State Road 59 from SR 54 but when the truck turned, it was in the left tuning lane and was fishtailing. The truck then accelerated passing right in front of the officer's patrol car. The police report states the truck was speeding too fast for the road conditions and it was driving left of center for about three blocks. The red and blue lights were activated and the driver of the truck, Donie, pulled over into the Southside gas station. The officer said he could smell a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage when the driver rolled down the window. Donie reportedly failed standard field sobriety tests and a certified breath test. He was taken into custody and transported to the Greene County Jail where he was booked in on a preliminary charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a class D felony. His bond was set at $8,000. LPD Officer Debbie McDonald-Miller assisted in the arrest.
