The Greene County Soil and Waste Management District is back open to the public after being closed from the blizzard.
Director of Recycling Erek Wilson said the establishment had been closed because the snowy conditions made it difficult to get to the recycling center.
"With our location being so remote, you couldn't hardly get down the main road, and the lane up to our building was drifted over," Wilson said.
The recycling center is located just off North Baseline Road near Switz City.
Wilson added while the recycling center is back open, patrons should use extreme caution because the lane leading up to the main building is still covered in snow and ice.
"We are open, but suggest people be as cautious as possible because we've had a lot of people falling down and vehicles getting hung up," Wilson noted.
The Center will be working on their regular hours of Monday through Saturday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
