Linda Mae Sullivan, 68, of Bloomington, peacefully passed away at home, Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, from a valiant battle with cancer. Linda was born in Linton July 10, 1944 to Forrest Workman and Esther (Shelton) and Maynard Stack.

Linda was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where she served in many different callings, including a devoted visiting teacher.

Linda worked at RCA for 17 years, loved being a professional nanny of 14 yrs, and was a beloved door greeter at Sam's Club for the last 11 years -- where she made many friends, young and old, and was known for always having a smile on her face. She especially loved the children, which felt her love.

Survivors include her husband, Michael L. Sullivan of 30 years; two daughters, Amy Rainbolt (Daniel) Stratton, (six children and one grandchild due in July) of Queen Creek, Ariz., and Lisa Rainbolt (Scott) Gilbert, (four children) of Johnstown, Pa.; one step-son and step-daughter, Michael J. Sullivan (two children) and Michelle (Claude) Davis (four children and four grandchildren) both of Oolitic, Ind.; two sisters, Sarah Gwyn, of Linton, and Joyce Coomer, of Solsberry; two step-sisters, Betty (Bobby) Cox, of Worthington, and Margaret (Bill, deceased) Meece of Indiananpolis; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceded in death by her parents; grandparents Addison and Minnie (Groomer) Workman and James Anderson and Della May (Greer) Shelton; nephew, Jeffrey Rainbolt; and step-son, Scotty Wayne Sullivan.

The family wishes to thank IU Home Health and Southern Care Hospice for their kind and loving care; the many friends and neighbors who came to visit and Sam's Club for their wonderful support.

A viewing will be held Friday, Jan. 18 from 4 to 8 p.m. at The Funeral Chapel, 3000 E. Third St., Bloomington, Ind.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, Jan. 19 at 10 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 4235 West 3rd St., Bloomington, Ind., with visitation prior to service 9 to 9:45 am. Internment will be held at the White River Baptist Cemetery in Buddha.
