Margie A. (Carrico) Anderson, 61, of Linton, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, in Indianapolis.

She was born on Feb. 17, 1951 in Sullivan County, IN, to Olaf (Whitey) and Virginia (Sparks) Carrico.

Margie graduated from Dugger High School in the class of 1969. She married Jerry Anderson on November 22, 1969.

Margie was employed for 38 years at Glenburn Nursing and Rehabilitation, the last 15 years serving as the Housekeeping Supervisor. Margie was a loving and proud wife, mother and grandmother. She was very proud of her grandchildren and enjoyed following their activities. Margie had a heart for serving and she loved the families and residents she met through the years in her profession. She brought care, a friendly smile and loving heart to every one she met! She has now joined her Savior in her Heavenly home. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

Survivors include: her husband, Jerry; one son, Brenton Scott (LuAnne) Anderson of Linton; one daughter, Brittany Lynn Anderson of Linton; three grandchildren, Cory, Kyle and Kaitlyn.

Margie was preceded in death by: one son, Bradley K. Anderson; her parents; step-father, Elmer Charlton; and one brother, Donnie R. (Sparkie) Sparks.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 19 at the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton with Pastor John Riker officiating.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 18 and noon until the hour of service on Saturday, Jan. 19. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

The family has entrusted all funeral arrangements to Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton, IN.
