SULLIVAN -- An employee on a break Wednesday evening is alleged to have called 911 and reported there was a bomb in the Sullivan-based McDonald's restaurant where he worked.
The Indiana State Police, Sullivan County Sheriff's Office, and Sullivan Police Department responded to a 911 call at 8:24 p.m. reporting a bomb at the McDonald's located at 755 West Wolfe St. in Sullivan.
Officers arrived and during their investigation were able to determine that an employee on break had made the 911 call reporting the bomb. Further investigation revealed there were no explosive devices found and the report was false, according to ISP Public Information Officer Sgt. Joe Watts.
