Mildred Corbin, 93, of Worthington, was called home with the Lord at 12:40 p.m., Jan. 17, 2013, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute.
She was born, May 25, 1919, in Worthington, the daughter of Charles Ray and Tona (Barton) Woody.
She was a homemaker. She was a life member of Worthington Christian Church, member of Women's Service Council at Church, Worthington Order of Rebekah Lodge. She was a 1937 graduate of Worthington-Jefferson High School.
Mildred is survived by one daughter, Lynnette (David) Dayhoff, Coal City; three grandchildren, Shelly (Jeff) Hyatt, Clay City; Alicia (Mike) Jacobs, Clay City; Benjamin (Autumn) Dayhoff, Cory; two great grandchildren, John and Emily Hyatt; cousins, Betty (Don) Calvert; Abby Herrington; Wanda Farren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, who she married Dec., 1956 Charles F. Corbin, Jan. 20, 1998.
Funeral service will be at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Worthington, Sunday, Jan. 20 at 3 p.m. with Phillip Smith officiating.
Friends may call at Welch & Cornett after 1 p.m. Sunday, until time of service.
Burial will be in Worthington Cemetery.
